Garrison glass-break sensors add glass-focused detection to an alarm installation. Intended applications include showcases, fixed windows and glass doors in offices or commercial premises. Unlike a door-position contact, a glass-break sensor responds to a characteristic of breaking glass rather than simply checking whether a door is open.
The round LK-4105C detects the specific frequency or vibration of breaking glass and needs no separate power source. Its product description specifies no sensitivity adjustment and a water-resistant case. Water resistance should not be interpreted as unrestricted outdoor suitability.
Select a sensor using the glass type, pane dimensions, installation position and connected alarm circuit. Confirm the manufacturer’s mounting instructions and coverage for the chosen model. Do not assume that one sensor covers every pane in a display or an entire room.
Send Garrison a description of the window, door or showcase, the number of panes and alarm-panel details. This gives the product team a practical basis for checking the proposed installation.
