The Garrison LK-120S alarm communicator sends voice and SMS notifications through a cellular connection when an alarm input is activated. It combines alarm-input handling with remote notification, making network compatibility as important as the detector wiring when planning an installation.
LK-120S lists five alarm-input channels, five voice messages, five SMS messages and up to ten recipient numbers. Its input arrangement includes four normally closed loops and one 24-hour normally open loop. Review these assignments against the events that need individual notification.
A GSM designation does not establish LTE or 4G compatibility. Ask for the current module specification and verify supported technology, frequency bands, SIM service, voice and SMS availability with the local operator. Coverage at the installation site and continued network service affect delivery.
Send Garrison the destination country, operator, input schedule and mains supply. Discuss antenna placement and backup-power needs, and define how recipients should respond to notifications.
